Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Thank you for choosing to be a Teacher 2 Teacher consignor! We are delighted that you have decided to take part in our sale. Please read the following information carefully to insure that your inventory drop-off and pick-up appointments run smoothly. We recommend that you print a copy of this page and bring it with you. We look forward to meeting you, and hope your consignment experience is both profitable and enjoyable!
Now that you have registered to be a consignor, selected, prepared, priced and tagged the items you want to sell, the next step is to drop them off at our sale location. In order to insure that the process runs efficiently and effectively, we require that ALL consignors reserve a drop-off appointment time with us. Drop-offs for our summer sale are scheduled for:
  • Thursday, July 27th, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Friday, July 28th, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
The Drop-Off process will take approximately 45 minutes. To schedule your appointment time, sign into your consignor homepage, and click "Select a Drop-off Appointment". You may change your drop-off appointment anytime while registration is open.
NOTE: Consignors will be responsible for placing their items on the sales floor. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your drop-off appointment.
Drop-Off Procedures
Upon arrival, you will need to check in at the registration table, located at the sale entrance. Please leave your items in your car at that time. After you sign in, we will direct you to the unloading area. As soon as you have unloaded your merchandise, please move your car back to the parking lot so that the next consignor will have room to unload. It is important that the unloading area be kept clear of parked cars throughout the entire drop-off process.
During your Drop-Off
  • Sign in.
  • Review your consignor agreement.
  • Verify your consignor number, contact information and e-mail address.
  • Review your direct deposit payment information.
  • Inform us if you are donating unsold items.
  • Express Tagging - All donated items MUST have a yellow highlighter line drawn directly through the barcode.
  • Custom Tagging – All donated materials MUST have a white index card with the barcode.
  • Receive your Consignor Pre-sale pass.
  • Sign-up for any remaining volunteer shifts (optional).
  • Unload your sale items.
  • Have your items inspected to insure that all quality, preparation, pricing and tagging guidelines have been followed. (Items that do not meet the guidelines will not be accepted. Please do not be offended if an item is not accepted—it is important to us that we offer only the highest quality gently used educational materials to our patrons. Our educators deserve it!)
  • Place your items on the sales floor.
  • Leave the sales area as soon as you have finished placing your items on the sales floor.
  • Pick up promotional materials to share with your family and friends. Remember, you are your best advertising, so spread the word!
Before Drop-Off
  • All items are clean and odor-free.
  • Barcodes and/or tags are attached in the proper location.
  • All items have barcodes.
  • No handwritten changes have been made to price or discount status on the tags.
  • Items are sorted by category for faster sales floor placement.
  • All items have been properly prepared.
  • Barcode areas are not covered with tape.
  • Toys, puzzles and games include all pieces.
  • All battery-operated games and toys are in working order and include batteries.
  • Personal names are carefully crossed out, or covered up.
  • Expressing Tagging - All items earmarked for donationMUSThave a yellow highlighter line draw directly through the barcode if using express tagging.
  • Custom Tagging - All donated materials MUST have a barcode attached to a white index card.
IMPORTANT: New PICK UP PROCEDURES (starting Summer 2017). Each Consignors will be responsible for collecting their unsold items from the sales floor at Pick-Up.To expedite the collection of unsold items,
Unsold Item Sort & Pick-Up Time
Monday, July 31, 5:00 PM
Please be on time.
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy!
Upon Arrival
  • Sign in. Note: Please bring a picture ID. All consignors will need to show their ID before entering the sales floor area.
  • Proceed to the sales floor for group sorting instructions.
  • After the group sort check the Unacceptable Items table. Sometimes we have to remove unacceptable items from the sales floor. We will do our best to indicate the reason it was deemed “unacceptable” with a sticky note.
  • Check the Lost Barcode table. Occasional we will find items with missing barcodes or tags. Those items can’t be sold and are held until consignor pick up. Unclaimed items are donated.
  • Collect your unsold items.
  • Sign out.
Pick Up Tips & Reminders
  • The sort &pick-up should take approximately 2-3 hours. We will begin promptly at 5:00. Please be on time.
  • Please bring boxes or bags with your consignor number clearly written on the outside of boxes.
  • If you consigned a large number of items, we highly recommend that you bring people to assist in the group sort and pick-up of your items.
  • We have a limited number of carts available, so please feel free to bring wagons or dollies.
  • If you used custom tags, please bring your custom tracking sheet with you.
  • If you use EXPRESS TAGGING, all donated items MUST have a yellow highlighter line drawn directly through the barcode. All items without a yellow highlighter drawn though the barcode must be picked up.
  • If you use CUSTOM TAGGING,¬all donated materials MUST have a barcode attached to a white index card. All items with a barcode attached to a colored index card must be picked up.
  • If your barcode or tag does not indicate ‘Donate’, we will assume that you plan to reclaim the item at the pick-up time indicated above. Items not picked up by the end of Pick-Up will become the property of Teacher 2 Teacher. You will be assessed a $35 removal fee. The fee will be deducted from your consignor earnings.
  • If you’re unable to attend the scheduled Pick Up time, you MUST make arrangements for someone to participate in the group sort and pick up of your items. Email info@t2tsale.com with “Pick Up Substitute” in the subject line and let us know the name of the person who will attend participate in the sort and pick-up your items. They’ll need your consignor # for Pick-Up. They will need to show an ID before entering the sales floor.
  • We are not responsible for any items you or your designee forget to carry out.

NOTE:Under the terms of our contract with FRCC, we must be out of the building at a specified time, so doors will be closed and locked on time. Unfortunately, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE PHONE CALLS AND WAIT FOR LATE ARRIVALS. All items remaining after the close of pick-up will become the property of Teacher 2 Teacher. We appreciate your punctuality and understanding.
Teacher 2 Teacher Educators Consignment Sale donates all unsold items not picked up by consignors to local non-profit organizations in our Colorado communities. This is our way of ‘giving back’, and helping to increase awareness of the importance of reducing waste through resale. After all, “resale is the ultimate in recycling”!
